The Wings are Philadelphia’s professional indoor lacrosse team and will celebrate its 24th season in 2010. The team has captured six championships, the most in National Lacrosse League (NLL) history. Each season the Wings and the NLL bring the top players in the world to the Wachovia Center to showcase their brand of fast paced, hard hitting lacrosse. The NLL teams each play a 16-game regular season schedule (eight home & eight away) that begins in December and runs through April. The regular season is followed by the Champions Cup Playoffs, a single elimination tournament to crown the league’s top team.
