Through the vision of the famous Philadelphia attorney, Jimmy Binns, ESQ., the leadership of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge Five President Bobby Eddis, Philadelphia Fire Fighters’ Union President Brian McBride and the cooperation of Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson and Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers the Hero Thrill Show has been reborn to carry on the proud tradition of raising funds to support the education of the survivors of those killed in the line of duty protecting Philadelphia.
The Hero Thrill Show will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Wachovia Center in South Philadelphia. The revamped show will bring back memories for those of us that came to the shows of the past and the Show will be an unforgettable event for those of us that have never attended. The Show offers something for everyone: Music, food, amusements, and most importantly, Thrills.
Join us from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm for the Sounds Of Philly Dance Party hosted by Bob Pantano of WOGL 98.1 and members of the Philadelphia Fire and Police Departments will provide the Thrill through acts of bravery and professionalism while demonstrating what makes them all Heroes.
