Jay Halbert was named Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Comcast-Spectacor on July 1, 2008. He joined Comcast-Spectacor as Vice President of Finance in 2007 from Venue One.

In addition to overseeing all of the day-to-day financial aspects of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm's businesses, Halbert also serves on Comcast-Spectacor's Office of the Chair.

Halbert is a 1992 graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his law degree from NYU School of Law in 1995, and then spent two years as a corporate associate with the New York law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell. Halbert then moved to the investment banking industry, where he worked at both Wasserstein Perella & Co. and Price Waterhouse Securities. He then gained experience in the venture capital industry at NewSpring Ventures, before becoming the CFO of Venue One.

Halbert resides in Plymouth Meeting, PA with his wife, Randi, and their children Melanie, Alex and Zachary.
